Aims of the Representative Program
Our goal is to make the BHA Representative Program the most successful program in Queensland.
To achieve our goal, we aim to:
- improve the standard of hockey at all age levels
- provide qualified coaches to our representative teams
- develop our players to enhance opportunities for representative teams
- ensure players are offered all training opportunities available
- achieve success for all teams at the Coulter Shield and State Championships
- actively encourage our representative teams to set an example in both player and parent behaviour on and off the field, through actively supporting the HA Code of Conduct by which we are all bound.
- Provide development opportunities for Coaches, Umpires, and Officials to progress to higher skills
