BHA Clearance Policy is-:
Brisbane registered players seeking to represent an Association other than Brisbane in their eligible age group at the Coulter Shield and/or the Hockey Queensland State Championships must meet the criteria set out in 11 Representative Program in the BHA Competition Rules & Regulations.

- This is not an automatic clearance, once applied for, applications will be considered by the BHA Director of Representative Hockey
- All clearance requests must come through Brisbane Hockey
- Clearances should not be submitted before the announcement of the Brisbane Team/s in the relevant age group
- Hockey Queensland will not accept any clearance that has not been submitted to BHA first
