BHA Clearance Policy is-:
Brisbane registered players seeking to represent a Centre other than Brisbane in their eligible age group at the Coulter Shield and/or the Hockey Queensland State Championships must have;
- nominated and participated in Brisbane trials according to their age eligibility.
- not been selected in a Brisbane team.
- been invited by another center to play with their Representative team.
Once all three (3) of the above criteria have been completed then the player may apply for a Short Term/Temporary Clearance.
Note:
- All clearance requests must come through Brisbane Hockey
- Clearances should not be submitted before the announcement of the Brisbane Team/s in the relevant age group
- Hockey Queensland will not accept any clearance that has not been submitted to BHA first
- Once applied for, applications will be considered by the BHA Director of Representative Hockey
